The Staff section in your WhitDeals business account is designed to help you manage your team effectively. You can invite new staff members, assign them roles with tailored permissions, and monitor their status. By defining role-based access, you ensure that each staff member has the appropriate tools and permissions to carry out their responsibilities, enhancing efficiency and maintaining security.

  1. Roles are predefined to allow granular control over what staff members can access:
  2. Business Admin: Full control, including managing other staff members, settings, and overall account functions.
  3. Editor: Can create and edit content but may have limited access to settings and other administrative features.
  4. Marketer: Focused on promotional activities such as creating deals, events, or campaigns.
  5. Viewer: Read-only access, useful for team members who need to monitor but not modify.
  6. None: No permissions granted (default option until a role is assigned).


3. Manage Staff Lists

  1. View and manage your entire staff list, track their roles, and monitor account activation statuses.


4. Secure Registration and Activation

  1. New staff members complete a secure email-based registration, ensuring proper account setup and security.


5. Track and Update Staff Status

  1. Easily monitor whether a staff member is active, pending activation, or has incomplete registration.



Step-by-Step Guide


1. Log in to Your Business Account

  1. Navigate to the WhitDeals Business Login Page.
  2. Use your registered email and password to log in.


2. Navigate to Settings



  1. Once logged in, locate the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
  2. Click on Settings to open the settings menu.



3. Access the Staff Section



  1. From the Settings menu, click on the Staff option to open the staff management page.
  2. Here, you will see the list of current staff members, their roles, and their activation statuses.



4. Add a New Staff Member



1. Click the Create Business Staff Button:

  1. At the top of the Staff page, locate and click the Create Business Staff button.


2. Fill Out Staff Details:

  1. Enter the required details for the new staff member:
  2. Name: Add the full name of the staff member.
  3. Email: Provide the staff member's email address.
  4. Role: Select a role from the following options:
  5. Business Admin
  6. Editor
  7. Marketer
  8. Viewer
  9. None


3. Submit the Invitation:

  1. Once all details are filled in, click Submit. This will trigger an email invitation to the provided email address.


5. Staff Registration and Account Activation



1. Check Email:

  1. The invited staff member will receive an email titled Staff Registration Setup for WhitDeals.


2. Activate the Account:

  1. The email will include a link titled Activate Account. The staff member must click this link within 7 days to complete their registration.


3. Set a Password:



  1. After clicking the activation link, the staff member will be redirected to a page to set their password.


4. Log In:

  1. Once the password is set, the staff member can use the provided Login Access link in the email to log in to their account.



6. Verify Staff Status



  1. Once the staff member activates their account, their status will update to Active in the Staff section of your business account.
  2. If the status remains Pending, ensure that the staff member has clicked the activation link and completed the registration process.


7. Manage Staff Roles and Permissions

  1. You can update or modify a staff member's role at any time by:
  2. Navigating to the Staff section.
  3. Clicking the Edit button next to the staff member's name.
  4. Changing their assigned role and saving the changes.


1. Staff members will receive an email for account activation.

Additional Information

  1. Resending Invitations:

If a staff member does not activate their account within 7 days, you can resend the activation email.

  1. Removing Staff Members:

To remove a staff member, locate their name in the staff list, click on the Remove button, and confirm the deletion.
