The Cashier Management feature in WhitDeals allows business owners to efficiently add and manage staff members with cashier roles. This includes inviting new cashiers, monitoring their account statuses, and controlling their access to the dashboard. This guide provides detailed instructions to help you navigate each step of the process.

Step-by-Step Guide
1. Log in to Your Business Account
- Navigate to the WhitDeals Business Login Page.
- Enter your registered email address and password.
- Click login to access your business dashboard.
2. Navigate to Settings

- Once logged in, locate the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
- Click on Settings to expand the settings menu.
3. Access the Cashier Section

- From the Settings menu, click on the Cashier option.
- This will open the Cashier Management page where you can:
- View the list of existing cashiers.
- Check their activation statuses (Active, Pending, or Inactive).
4. Add a New Cashier to Your Business

1. Open the Add Members Form
- At the top of the Cashier page, locate the Add Members button and click it to open the form.
2. Fill Out Staff Details
- Enter the required information for the new staff member:
- Name: Input the full name of the cashier.
- Email: Provide a valid email address for the staff member.
3. Submit the Invitation
- Double-check the details entered to avoid errors.
- Click Submit to send an email invitation to the staff member.
5. Cashier Registration and Account Activation

1. Email Invitation
- The invited cashier will receive an email with the subject line: “Hello [Cashier’s Name]!!”
- The email contains:
- A QR code for easy activation.
- A Click Here link for manual activation.
2. Activate Account

- The cashier must click the Click Here link to start the activation process.
- They will be redirected to the Set Password page.
- Create a strong password and confirm it.
- Click Submit to complete the setup.
3. Log In to the Cashier Account
- Once the password is set, the cashier can log in using Whitdeals Login.
6. Verify Cashier Status
- Return to the Cashier section of your business dashboard.
- Check the status of the invited cashier:
- Active: The account has been successfully activated.
- Pending: The cashier has not yet completed the activation process.
Troubleshooting
- If the status remains Pending:
- Ensure the cashier has checked their email.
- Resend the activation email if needed.
7. Manage Cashier Accounts and Permissions

The Cashier section allows you to manage existing cashier accounts efficiently. For each cashier, locate the Actions column and click on the three dots (⋮) to access the following options:
Option 1: View
- Click View to access the cashier’s dashboard.
- Validate and monitor deals or activities assigned to that cashier.
Option 2: Resend Email Invitation
- If a cashier hasn’t activated their account within 7 days, click Resend Email to send the activation link again.
Option 3: Edit Cashier Details
- Click Edit to update the cashier:
- Name
- Email address
Option 4: Deactivate Cashier Account
- Select Deactivate to change the cashier’s status from Active to Inactive.
- This will temporarily disable their access to the dashboard.
Option 5: Delete Cashier Account
- Choose Delete to permanently remove the cashier from your business account.
- Note: Deleted accounts cannot be recovered.
